Downtown San Dimas has rich architectural heritage with eclectic buildings. The Specific Plan vision, policies, code, and strategies seeks to preserve the unique sense of place, promote contextual infill development, attract businesses and visitors, foster entrepreneurship and innovation, and create an integrated transportation system where people prefer to walk, bike or ride public transit rather than drive a car.  The Plan recommends a range of strategies for transforming existing streets into Complete Streets, enhancing First/Last Mile connections, reducing parking demand and effectively managing the parking supply.
